GemInstaller returned a zero return code when gem failed to build

Geminstaller was invoked via sudo in a capistrano build. rmagick failed to build, but deploy continued anyway (like a zero return code came from the command). This was confirmed by adding "&& echo 'SUCCESS'" to the geminstaller command, and 'SUCCESS' was printed.
